Chinese Paradise 5 is an event held yearly by Student Association of Chinese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Studies, Universitas Brawijaya (FCS UB) since 2012. This event is the biggest one held by the Chinese major. The purposes of Chinese Paradise are to give knowledge about Chinese culture, to introduce Chinese Literature Study Program FCS UB to society and other Universitas Brawijaya students, also to embrace other universities and schools around Malang city through Chinese Paradise competitions.
This year is the 5th Chinese Paradise taking concept from Xian city and the theme is “Magic of Youth”. Xian is a city which is rich of histories. The theme “Magic of Youth” means the magic from every young fellow that has a chance to change lots of things not only for themselves but also for others to a better future.
Chinese Paradise 5 has new competition branches, such as fashion show, 3D wall magazine, poster design, and presenter competition. The other competitions are poetry, coloring, speech contest, band, fashion show, 3D wall magazine and presenter competition. [DA-CP/DT/MSH/PSIK FIB]

Chinese Paradise 5 adalah program kerja dari Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi (Himaprodi) Sastra Cina Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Brawijaya (FIB UB). Chinese Paradise merupakan acara tahunan terbesar Program Studi Sastra Cina. Chinese Paradise pertama kali diselenggarakan pada tahun 2012. Tujuan Chinese Paradise diadakan adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan di bidang kebudayaan Tionghoa bagi masyarakat umum.
Pada tahun ini, konsep Chinese Paradise 5 diambil dari kota Xian yang bertemakan Magic of Youth. Kota Xian merupakan kota yang memiliki kekayaan akan sejarah. Tema yang diambil kali ini memiliki makna “keajaiban yang dimiliki oleh setiap pemuda”. Setiap pemuda memiliki kesempatan untuk mengubah sesuatu, baik itu untuk diri sendiri maupun untuk orang lain demi kebaikan di masa depan.
Chinese Paradise 5 memiliki cabang lomba baru, yaitu fashion show, mading 3D, poster, dan presenter. Adapun kompetisi yang lain antara lain kompetisi puisi, mewarnai, pidato, band, fashionshow, mading 3D, dan presenter.
