The Process of Japanese Speech Competition

Delia Putri Kamila, a student of the Study Program of Japanese Literature (SPJL), Faculty of Cultural Studies (FCS) Universitas Brawijaya (UB), won the Japanese Speech Competition. This competition was organized by Universitas Darma Persada in collaboration with Hiroshima University which was held online via Zoom platform on Sunday (12/19/2020).

This competition was also attended by students from other universities in Indonesia such as UGM, UPI, UNPAD, UNAIR, and many more.

The initial stage of the preparation began with an internal selection from the SPJL to select the delegates. According to Delia, in the internal selection and script selection stages, four other FCS UB students participated. It was followed by the initial stage of the competition by sending the script. This script could only be read out after passing the desk evaluation.

In recent years, SPJL has sent their students continuously as the delegates of this competition. Delia has been interested in participating in the competition since she was a new student. However, she felt constrained by her language skills and she was busy with many activities before finally being able to take part in the competition in 2020.

Delia admitted that the preparation took approximately two months which finally delivered her script to be included in the ten selected scripts of one hundred registered scripts. Despite having some technical problems such as the internet connection and lighting, Delia was still able to be the champion. Congratulations! [DA/DTS/MSH/PR FCS][:id]

Proses Perlombaan Pidato Berbahasa Jepang

Delia Putri Kamila, mahasiswa Program Studi (PS) Sastra Jepang Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Brawijaya (UB), memenangkan lomba pidato berbahasa Jepang.

[RRS/DTS/MSH/Humas FIB][:]
